A quart in 1000 miles is a bit much but not terribly excessive. Yours isn’t under the recall from a few years ago AFAIK. If you bought the vehicle new it should still be under the 10 yr./100k powertrain warranty.

Go to the dealer and have them do a oil usage test and get it on the record before the warranty is up .

Although you should have this investigated, keep in mind that nearly all manufacturers will officially say that this consumption is acceptable.

I believe someone posted here that some manufacturers consider a quart every 700 miles to be “acceptable” consumption. However that doesn’t make it so.
