I have a grandson, like mid 20s, who reads instructions but has great difficulty in understanding them, i.e., cannot visualize what they say. He is, however, excellent with any directive diagram. He has years of experience welding and can visualize what needs to be done. He also has been an excellent mechanic on his Volvos and Toyotas presently completely replacing engine and all suspension parts on an older Land Cruiser.
