I’ve just heard an awful scratching sound while I was driving so I pulled over and checked underneath the car and there’s something hanging down and dragging right under where the engine is! HELP PLEASE!
If it’s underneath where the engine is, it’s likely a plastic air deflector or splash guard
Will it be safe to drive to mechanic to get it fix or can I not drive with it dragging on the asphalt?
You can drive it. It’ll get scratched up, but they should be able to reattach it. In our Odyssey (a 2005), the one underneath ours fell too, and I just used zip ties to reattach it until I got it home and could reattach it properly
