Most likely you will need to have it towed to your mechanic to have the tank drained.

You will get better replies if you tell how much diesel fuel was put in and if you drove the vehicle .
I just don’t understand why this seems to happen so often .
If this was a large amount then have it towed to a shop and let them determine what should be done.

I thought the diesel hose wouldn’t even fit into a normal gas hole ? How do they do this ?

I remember one person said that they had to hold the nozzle against the fuel pipe because it would not go in the opening.
