Your vehicle came with a 5 year/100,000 mile Powertrain Warranty, so as long as you haven’t exceeded 100k miles, the engine and the transmission are still covered by that warranty. Rather than trying to diagnose/fix this yourself, you should take it to a Jeep dealership for diagnosis and repair.
