2016 Ford Edge - condensation on the rear lens assembly

Rear center lens assy. condensation anyone else with problem & was it resolved

Sometimes you can find where the water gets in and fix that area. Cutting a drain/vent hole in the bottom might be part of a solution. A Ford dealer may be familiar with it and there may be a fix recommended by Ford.

If you bought your Edge new you might be able to seek redress under the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty. If not, try and figure out where moisture is getting in. Years ago I “fixed” a problem with water collecting in the taillights of my mother-in-law’s Fairmont by drilling drain holes. Might be worth a try.

You might try blowing some warm air on it using a hair dryer on the “lo” setting. Might help. Be cautious b/c too much heat will melt/distort the plastic.
