I have a 2016 dodge challenger and a rat chewed through the number three electrical wire. My mechanic replaced the harness the electrical cord and all the spark plugs but the car is hiccuping basically when it’s idling just one or two hiccups it doesn’t affect the engine and no dummy lights are coming on and my mechanic is stumped so trying to figure out what’s going on with it if anybody knows
Has the mechanic checked the computer for a misfire count?
You need a mechanic to connect a scope to look at electrical signals to the coils and injectors.
Then he/she can pinpoint the origin of the problem.
If your current mechanic isn’t fluent with a scope you need to find another.
