I have a 2015 EOS final edition. The car will not start quickly, it takes some time for the car to recognize the key fob. then it will start. Both key fobs have new batteries and both have the same issue. it has been like this for at least 4 years.
SORRY, THERE ARE NO KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE SELF-PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS VEHICLE.
- The Manufacturer decided to not produce this vehicle with self-programming capabilities.
- You must get an Automotive Locksmith to program the remote to your vehicle for you.
I would try a locksmith to see if they can help. if not you might have to go to the dealer to have fixed…
What did the dealership tell you when it was covered by the warranty?
It’s my wife’s care. The dealership kept telling me they fixed and my wife would say it’s fine. Then I would figure out that it was doing the same thing.

@tducey Not really a good idea to put your personal contact on an open Forum that anyone can see .
Thanks

Bottom line, you think it has a problem, your wife does not.
@cdaquila Carolyn , do you want to edit the tducey posts ?
I see by your business name you work in Fenton, MO. If you live near Brentwood, I can recommend American Locksmiths.
