When buying hubcaps what does one need to consider? Obviously design is important, but other than that, what kind of material is considered durable? Any tips in buying hubcaps is appreciated!

Well, first of all I doubt if you can reach Ray here . Tom passed away some time ago.
Tips for hubcaps - what ever suits your taste and budget and as long as you don’t make it a practice to hit curbs on a regular basis the material is not that important .
Edit : Also this is not a major expense they can be bought from Amazon - Walmart - Pepboys and there are many online sellers of used hubcaps .
Majority of hubcaps, now more commonly called wheel covers, are ABS plastic.
