I have a Honda CRV and the right front passenger window shattered into millions of pieces on the highway. It had no nicks in it and nothing hit it-it just shattered all over. This happened six months ago and was replaced then but tiny glass pieces are found at the bottom of the door all the time. Wonder if it is going to shatter again. This was very scary while going 70 mph on an interstate.
I can imagine that was very frightening. Your chances of having it happen again are no greater than those of any other random person driving any other random car.
Glass breaks. It happens. It can be very random.
The side glass turns to “rice” to prevent nasty gashes if it breaks. The stuff goes everywhere. Your glass company didn’t do a very good cleanup.
