Our 2015 Impala has terrible smell in trunk region. cleaned trunk with odor remover and it was fine for a month. Now odor has returned. It is very hot day, 90 + day. This is the first summer we have had odor since we purchased the car new.
Mouse? That would be my guess. And I’d check the drains.
