Vehicle hesitates when accelerating from a stop. It is not consistent, its an on and off thing. Had the vehicle checked by dealer, was told computer did not show any problems with transmission.
For reasons that I can’t quite fathom, a lot of people seem to equate hesitation with a transmission problem, when–in most cases–this is an engine-related problem. If I had that problem, I would start by cleaning the throttle body.
We have seen many posts, no code, no problem. It does not mean the problem does not exist. You need a real mechanic, not someone who says no code no problem. I fear this is the state of auto repair technology today. Try some seafome or techron.
