I have a 5th Generation 2015 Nissan Altima. the low beam headlights are essentially useless. They do not cast enough light to see beyond ~30-40 feet in front of the car. as an example the blinker casts more light, and while driving my car will cast a shadow from the headlights behind me in +90% of cases. this is truly a manufacture defect (yes I have changed the bulbs with the correct replacement units) and this does not help at all. do I need to just replace the entire headlights assembly or has anyone gotten this remedied by the dealership? Nissan is great at doing nothing so far and driving without the high beams is just not safe now. I can buy and replace them myself but Nissan Should step up and correct their garbage design.
Check YouTube videos to see if there is a way to adjust the aim of the headlights.

It may not help you now, but with your next vehicle purchase, you will be able to check the headlight effectiveness.
