Thanks for the info about the GMC pickups with dim headlights. My 2013 Nissan Altima has a similar problem. From what I’ve discovered online, this is common. I’ve reported to NHTSA & two ‘class-action’ law firm websites. Any other way we can put pressure on Nissan to do the right thing and issue a recall for the fix?
Sooo is this something that has happened over the 6 years this car has been on the road? If the lenses are cloudy, like many, many cars have, there are polishing kits for this. If the bulbs have dimmed, just replace them. Both conditions can be fixed cheaply and simply.
Waiting for Nissan to do something for a 6 year old car may take until it is 8, 10 or 12 years old and only the lawyers will really be happy with the outcome.
