How to make a too-low beam higher?

My 2011 Civic’s headlights are problematic for night driving at highway speeds, because the light from the low beam bulbs is angled too low, and blacks out sharply not far ahead. The angle of the light onto the street in front of me is OK for going say 35mph, but not good for highway speeds, and I don’t want to blind others with my high beams (which BTW are fine). I replaced the entire headlamp assemblies, thinking a new, clear lens would extend the low-beam light a bit farther. It didn’t. I bought “xtra bright” bulbs. That didn’t help either. So it’s NOT a problem of the bulb, but instead of how the light is being angled or blocked. I’m attaching a pic of the passenger side headlight assembly. Low beam bulb is behind a reflective circular shield in the middle-left of the assembly. High beam bulb is visible bare on the right side.
This seems to be a design problem. Any ideas on how to tweak the low beams so I can see a bit farther ahead of me on the highway?

Check if you can do this with your Civic.

You have reflector style lenses. You could try projector style. Why didn’t you buy that that style? I’d get HID bulbs too.

Don’t know how he can change the type of headlight now. Just aim them correctly.

The headlamps in my Odyssey have the same abrupt cutoff that took some time getting used to back when I bought it in 2012. It’s by design but it’s worth looking into any issues that might contribute to them being too low over time. If there’s an adjustment to raise the entire lamp assembly, great. If not, is it possible your front struts are worn and allowing the front end to sag?

Thanks, Tester, for informing me about headlight aiming mechanism. Yes, it’s the same as in video, and I just now easily did it on both sides with a simple stubby phillips, rather than a super-long one like the man in the video. After seeing the video you linked, I found a similar more practical video in case anybody else needs it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdvahmRE9kg

Hi Twin-- front end not sagging, the aiming mechanism that Tester indicated works.
