5bullet holes in drivers side door. How much to fix it
Couple of things here, since we don’t all have crystal balls and you didn’t post a pic of the door, there is no way to know how many bullet holes (5?) are A) in the door and B) how big the bullet holes are…
Another thing is, we don’t know were you live (Please NO personal info) so we have no idea what labor cost are in your area… And the biggest thing is we are a automotive mechanical repair forum, so just some DIYers doing there own body work…
Lastly, just make an appt with 3ish body shops and get your free estimate from them… do your research by checking reviews, asking friends and family, co-workers, church members etc etc to see who they use and or recommend or say stay way from…
Good luck and hope no one was hurt…
I think you will find that most shops will suggest a door skin. A part that replaces the door’s sheetmetal overlay. It’s relatively low cost.
Another alternative: a used door, if it’s the same color it’s a pretty quick bolt-on and takes care of any damage inside the door.
This was what a shop recommended for my rav4. A motorcycle ran in the side just 3 months after I purchased it new. They replaced the door skin and everything was fine after that.
Somehow I don’t think replacing a door skin and matching the paint is going to be 'low cost '.

I suspect that there is more damage than five holes in the outer door panel. Depending on the bullets used, there might be interior damage too.

I guess there’s a chance that the window mechanism, lock mechanism, and various wiring were all unscathed, but… somehow… I doubt if that is the case.
I’d suspect a couple thousand would be a starting point but body shops give free estimates. Don’t turn it into insurance though.
I doubt a door skin will fix it… bullets don’t stop when passing though thin sheet metal. They hit things inside the door. And the right bullets go straight through.
