I have the 2014 Ford Escape SE 4WD & it makes that clunking sound at slow speed on rough road up hill. sounds like front suspension.102 K mi. is this a danger?

If you are asking complete strangers if something is a danger or not, then I suggest taking your vehicle to a shop to have it properly checked out by a pro mechanic…
There are many possible causes for clunking sounds. It’s possible you have a worn, loose ball joint. In that case, yes, that would be very dangerous if the ball joint broke. Suggest to follow the good advice above and obtain a shop assessment of the situation. They’ll poke and prod the suspension and steering systems, testing for abnormal looseness or play. Shops do this task routinely, any well-recommended inde shop should be able to do it for you. You are welcome to post what the shop finds for further help here. Suggest to not defer obtaining this assessment though. .
