car sputters and sometimes stalls when you stop. turn off ac fan and it runs smooth.
Is it in ECO mode? ECO mode drops the idle speed and AC puts a further load on the engine. Also if you have the 4 cyl, check the oil level. I believe this is one of the symptoms when excessive oil consumption is occurring. For more info do a search on “Equinox oil consumption”.
I have not experienced this with my 2013 Equinox, however I leave the ECO button off as I prefer how the car drives and shifts in normal mode.
