The car radio reception for any AM stations is non existent FM works fine and Satilite works great, but AM gets no reception at all. How can I fix this problem
AM is vertically polarized and requires a good ground plane to get any reception. If the antenna is not grounded properly, it won’t work. FM is horizontally polarized and does not need a ground plane.
No one listens to AM radio anymore.
