I have a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR and when I plug in my phone charger into the lighter plug, the car shifts into “O/D OFF” on its own and starts slowing the car down. Anyone else have that happen?
Did you try a different charger, that one could be shorting the battery? Does it get hot?
Unless there is a problem with the wiring providing the power to those circuits which could cause a voltage drop to occur I would suspect that the charger might be adding noise to the power and that is causing interference to the transmission control system.

I will have Nissan check out if the charger is causing interference to the battery or transmission system. Thank you.
Would it not be easier and cheaper to try a different charger. The dealer is not going to look at this for free.
Since my car is still under warranty, I thought I would have them check the electric system and also get a Samsung charger as well.
