For a couple of days my engine light was on. Now its off. i’m at 60,350 mi. I go for a oil change at 60,777mi. last oil change was 3/21/2019. My question is, should I wait until my next oil change to have someone check everything or should i be concerned and do it ASAP?
As long as it stays off you’ll be ok until your next service. Just don’t trust an oil change chain to inspect it. Use a good independant auto repair facility.
In most states, auto parts stores will read the codes for free. Do that soon and post them here.
If a Check Engine light turns on and then turns off, it means the problem no longer exists.
I wouldn’t worry about it until the light turns back on.
