Has Ford/Lincoln accepted responsibility for not in park messages? I’ve already had my. Gear shift replaces and that wasn’t it at all… that was on warranty but now the real problem has come up again and I’m out of warranty and I think The mfg. should cover it since I’m not the only owner with the same defect.

So it happened again, go BACK to your Lincoln dealer and ask them to fix it again under warranty.
Is it actually in Park? If it is, what’s the problem? But I bet seeing that message made you check twice, and that is not a bad thing.
