2013 Ford Taurus - testing front struts

I own a 2013 Ford Taurus with 84,000 miles. What is the best way to test if I need new front struts? The car tracks straight and rebounds good over bumps. The rear has shock absorbers.

If by ‘rebounds good over bumps’ means it bounces up and down a lot, then it needs new struts. If you mean it handles bumps well and doesn’t bounce, your struts should be okay. Struts last a long time.
