power steering assist fault light came on hard too steer
Well, that tells you the problem right there.
And that is the result. I think this car has electric power steering and the fault may be a bad steering sensor. It needs to have the error codes read to find out the problem and that can’t be done with cheapie readers like the ones AutoZone or O’Reillys use. Take it to a good independent shop.
