I have a fueling problem with my 013 Ford Edge. When I try to put gas in, the nozzle will shut off at about 1 gal. and then I can only dribble it in. I have had it back to the dealer twice. First they replaced the filler neck and then they replaced the canister valve. Nothing has helped and I am beginning to doubt whether the dealer can fix it without replacing the whole fuel system, piece -by-piece. Anybody have similar problem with a solution?
Have the vent system for EVAP system taken apart and checked for spider egg sacs.
This problem is starting to show up on more and more vehicles.
You wouldn’t think that spiders…or any other bug would find a fuel system to be a good place for a home.
But it is not a hoax.
