2013 Fiat 500 - Mileage Indicator Flashing

The odometer is blinking on my car. What does that mean, and how do I stop it?

From justanswer.com:

The flashing odometer means the proxy configuration is misaligned. This has to do with the can bus communication system the various modules use to communicate with each other. If one of the modules loses communication the odometer will flash.

The most common cause of this is a low battery condition, or improper jump starting. First thing to try to resolve the issue is to disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes. This usually works.

If this does not resolve the issue, you most likely will have to bring your Fiat to the dealer to perform a proxy configuration alignment. It sounds very technical but is a simple process.

And Mr. Purbred probably found that just like I did in less then 2 minutes by a simple Google search .

Too bad you didn’t share it first, as if you ever would offer help to someone.
