2012 Subaru Legacy - Multiple warnings

check engine lite, traction control lite, brinking brake lite, cruise control binking whats wrong?

On Subarus of this vintage, when the Check Engine Light starts glowing, it will also set-off a virtual light show involving all of the other lights that you mentioned.

Step #1 is to find out what caused the CEL to light up, and that involves having someone “read” the trouble codes that have been stored by the car’s OBD system. You can have the codes read at most auto parts stores, but–of course–they can’t do the necessary repairs.

I am really hoping that the “blinking” only involves the cruise control light, and not the CEL.
A steadily-illuminated CEL = have the codes read and then repair a.s.a.p.
However, a blinking CEL = DO NOT start the engine or drive the car, as you will cause very expensive damage to take place to the catalytic converter, and possibly to the engine itself.

If the CEL is blinking, you need to have the car towed to a qualified mechanic’s shop.
