bought car new. it has very low miles. had new steering column replaced- ca ching!!!
my particular car has extended warranty on the “coupler”. i want to know if that little part could have caused damage to whole column?
No. The coupler isn’t strong enough to damage the column. Frankly, I’ve never met anyone who ever replaced an entire column.
