A cyclical clicking comes from the front driver side wheel area. It is louder when turning to the right, and almost absent when turning to the left. I jacked the car up and checked the CV boot and there are no cracks. If I am stopped or in park, and I turn the steering wheel hard to the left or right, I can feel a slight movement or crepitus or some sort with my foot.
Bad CV joints tend to click when they get loose. Did you check for play in the joints?
