Car wouldn’t start; We were told we needed a new battery. Got the new battery, but car is still sluggish to start. What other electrical problems could be at play and how too we troubleshoot to find the right one?
First check the connections and make sure they’re free of corrosion and good and tight. It’s also possible the starter is going bad or that the alternator is weak.

Who told you that a new battery would solve your problem, a real mechanic or some helpful friend? What trouble shooting did they do to come to this conclusion?
What did the car do before the battery was replaced? Slow crank, no crank ??? What was the voltage of the battery before starting (should be 12.5 + volts) what is the voltage at the battery when the car is running (should be 13+ volts)
