Engine light on dealer says might be gas recovery line if I send car number can you give me proof of a recall?
I guess by car number you mean VIN . No do not send it here. Use you search engine and find the government recall site and you will find it there if there is one . Actually the dealer can also do that for you.
I think the dealer means an EVAP hose.
If that’s the case, there is no recall for that problem.

What ever the true cause it needs to be fixed. You can always get a second opinion from an independent shop or have a auto supply store read the codes for you.
