I have a 2010 Pontiac vibe and the check engine light and VDS and stability lights all started flashing at once what does this mean
If the check engine light is flashing, don’t drive it anymore until you get the misfire repaired. After check engine light is dealt with the other stuff can be looked at. In the meantime we can’t help you much here unless you send us which codes are present. They need to be in a format like P0300. The engine size and milage would be helpful too.
The check engine light flashing means there’s a serious problem happening something that could cause expensive to repair engine or exhaust system damage, like as mentioned above, good chance it is cylinder misfiring. The engine shouldn’t be run until whatever is causing that is repaired. I expect once that’s fixed the other problems will go away on their own. Many of the advanced features won’t work correctly if the engine isn’t running perfectly, so the computer turns those off for safety purposes automatically when it detects a major engine problem.
