iI’M GETTING VIBRATION IN THE CABIN OF MY
CAR.MY LOCAL TECH CHECKED MOTOR MOUNTS AND CV AXLES WHICH APPARENTLY
LOOKED OK.HE SUGGESTED CHEK MY TIRES
FOR BALANCE.I DID ROTATE THEM WHICH
SEEMED TO HELP SOMEWHAT. ANY SUGGESTION? I DESCRIBE THE SOUND AS
A DRONEING WHICH VARIES WITH THE SPEED OF THE CAR
Please reframe from using caps lock unless you are yelling at us… lol
Did you balance them or just rotate them??
Did the vibration move with the rotation???
That could be the condition of the tires, cupping, feathering cross swiping…
Did the noise move with the rotation??
Ok , it was suggested to have the tires balanced . Why not do that and at the same time see if they need replaced because of wear or age. That will ellimnate 2 possible problems .
Of course you did not really ask a question but just vented.
If sound/sensation could be described as “growling” that gets louder the faster you go, sort of like driving on a roughened pavement surface, like road crews do prior to applying a new coat of asphalt, that’s consistent with a faulty wheel bearing.
