Didnāt you read OPs last response?
Hi Lu-689, I am still experiencing the issue. I have been trying Bradley-36ās suggestion and have had a mix of results, either it does it, or it doesnāt. So far, no final fix in place.
I am hopeful that we will find a fix soon as my son will likely own this car next.
NEW Update (August 2020)
I got an email from @Bradley-36. He suggested a trick and it is working like a charm.
Insert your key into the ignition and turn to the second click and let it run through it CHECKINGā¦ process. Once complete, then start the car.
No joke this has been 100% since I started this and I have never had it chug/stall/die.
Thanks @Bradley-36!
Has this still worked for you as you mention with letting the system run through a check before starting?
I have a 2014 Equinox that stalled shortly after star up as well as the described above. My issue was that I replaced my upstream 02 sensor with a Bosh 02 sensor. My Equinox did not like it so I replaced it with an OEM an all is well.
So If anyone comes back to this thread looking for help I hope I can assist. I had this exact same problem on a 2011 Chevy equinox and replaced most everything I thought it could be that wasnāt too expensive. Map, maf, both o2, cleaned the throttle, new crank and camshaft sensors. But the leave the key on and let the gauges cycle before starting tip worked. For me it turned out to be the ignition switch. Heavy keys in the ignition for years wore it out and the switch. It was about 27$.i hope this helps.
