For best help here, suggest to explain the symptoms in more detail

  • Do you hear the “rrr rrr rrrr” sound w/the key in “start”?
  • Do you at least hear a “click”?
  • Has your shop done the standard battery/alternator test?
  • Has you shop verified the correct voltages at the starter motor terminals?

If you just want your car working again, and don’t want to bother with a differential diagnosis, some chance of success if you replace the battery and starter motor.
