crv 2015 wont start nor turn over, hear a clicking sound from engine ,still don’t start,finally jumped it from other suv ,got it started, had battery checked at auto store they found no major problem with battery, I now have on charge, I just don’t think its the battery. Any thoughts???
Replace the battery anyway regardless of what the auto parts store said. It’s the easiest thing to replace and eliminate. I’m assuming it’s the original, so it’ll need to be replaced within the next year anyway so it will not be wasted money.
I can’t be 100% sure that it’s the battery, but based on my past experience, it’s a good chance that’ll fix your problem.
Do what @boilerengtn suggests and then have the voltage checked once the car is running again. If you aren’t seeing at least 13.5 volts at the battery while running, the alternator may have failed. But I think the new battery will fix it, too.
