i have an 08 ford focous,in cold weather the door locks freezes,key will only go halfe way in door locks,i took it back to dealership,they sprayed sum kinda lub in door locks said it was allright,but its not,it still freezeing up,any one have any ideas how to fix it,thanks
Moisture is getting in there somehow. It may be related to where you park. If it were me I might consider using the professional fix. Put a piece of duct tape over the lock to keep it dry. Use the remote to unlock the door (you do have a remote key don’t you?)
Don’t use your door locks in the winter if you always park outside. It’s a standard Winter problem.
