i bought my car new back in 2007 its a 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT 2.4l 4 Speed Automatic transmission bought from Lithia Dodge of Cherry Creek in Denver Colorado , today i have whining noise coming from tranny only has 62k miles on it . and it having problem shifting into drive and over drive rpm goes up to 3g while in drive 3rd gear this is not normal at all . and i need to find out what is my power train warrenty coverage as well please ?
You would have to check the warranty information that came with your car. My guess it expires after ten years.

At that time, Chrysler was providing an unlimited powertrain warranty to the purchaser of a new vehicle, but the warranty would only remain in effect if the purchaser brought the vehicle into a Chrysler dealer for a no cost inspection every 5 years.
