2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer whines at low rpm

Last 2 months car whines upon acceleration @ 1100 rpms. Otherwise no other problems .

Best internet guess serpentine belt or tensioner, but as a second thought have you checked the power steering fluid level?

Most likely either the tensioner or they are notorius for the idler pulley going and causing a noticeable whine . Idler pulley is about 15 minutes in your driveway . Pull off the belt and the idler is one bolt .

Do some experiments, like does the whine go away or get worse driving in certain gears? Coasting in neutral? Decelerating? Can you hear it with the car parked in the driveway and bumping the throttle to 1100?
