Why is the rear end getting hot and feeling like it is dragging
Rear end as in rear differential? Or the back end of the car?
Are there any red or yellow lights glowing on the dash? What symbols?
Rear end as in rear wheel’s/ brake’s dragging maybe?
Most likely you have one or both rear calipers frozen and they are not releasing.
If both are not releasing, I would first replace the hose brake hose that runs from the hard line to the rear end.
