After the car has run for a while and then turned off. It won’t re start. It makes no noise at all when you turn the key. The message center says transmission over temp. My mechanic is somewhat puzzled and is making some calls. Any idea what this could be?
How About A Faulty Temp Sensor On The Transmission Fluid System ? That’s My Guesss.

The scan tools could read the trans temp. The dealer tools have it but a good shop tool should be able to do it too. If the temp is really normal buy direct measurement and the computer is reading a high temp then it is the temp sensor.
