The car lurches when accelerating from low speeds. It is especially bad when the car is cold. Other problems with the car include burning oil ( about 3 L per 5000 miles) and a bad catalytic converter. What should I do?
1660 miles per liter is not what I would consider an oil burning problem.
As for what should you do… about what? The problems you already have? Sell the car? Keep the car? We need to know a lot more that you’ve let on so far.
As for the “lurching” is the check engine light on? Please list all the codes that are stored including the one you think means “bad catalytic converter.” In the form of P1234, please, and we’ll try and give you a bit of advice.
