So very recently my Focus started squeaking in the rear end when I go over bumps. Most recently as in today there is now a thump on large bumps as well. I am taking it in on Wednesday to have it looked at but wondering what I am looking at? Help
I’m not sure if the problem remains, but some time in the not too distant past small Fords had rear springs that were prone to break. These will squeak & the lack of support can cause bottoming of the strut.
Of course there are other things back there that can squeak and bump too, so I guess you’ll just have to wait and see.
