Had a total ECM failure! truck just died, had to replace ECM $2800.00 after that ETC light came on will not turn off and not throwing codes, trucks bucks going up hills… Took it to dealer cant find anything wrong they just told me they hope it breaks completely so they can find the prob!! WHAT I said…
So what is your question?
Why did you pay $2800 for a $200 ECU?? Rebuilt ECU’s sell for $200, a diesel ECU (you don’t tell us WHICH engine you have or even the model of truck) is $1000.
