radio works but not any sound, do i need speckers?
Depending on the design of the system installed in the vehicle, there may be external amps used to drive the speakers, inside the doors possibly. Make sure any fuses for the audio system are good and passing power. The problem could also be inside the head unit if there are separate amplifier units. Whatever the trouble is, I would suspect bad speakers last on the list of suspects for the trouble.

If the speakers pass the test, the problem is probably with the amplifiers in the entertainment system.
