radio speakers not working
If you have a mute button, check to see if you didn’t accidently press it. then
Check the fuse for the radio amplifier. If its blown, replace it with the same rated fuse and see if the sound comes back. If not, the amp has most likely failed.
Buy new speakers. Your old ones have disintigrated.
I had to replace my truck’s aftermarket speakers for that reason. They still made sounds though, just not good sounds. Old speakers, I turned them into metal-finding magnets, which work surprisingly well for that purpose. A neighbor was throwing away his computer’s speakers, and I used those as the replacements. Pretty good sound.
Throw one of these on the seat and call, it a day.
+1
I knew a guy who bought the ultimate strippo Honda Civic, back in the 90s. No A/C, wind-up windows, and no audio system. He drove it for the next 20 years with a boom box on the rear seat.
But an 8 track wouldn’t fit.
