My running lights melted the lenses on my Cadillac XLR
Dealer quoted me $2700 just for parts. Where is Cadillac this is deffentily a defect
You’re seriously trying to blame Cadillac on something that failed after 11 years on the road? Why are you taking an 11 year old vehicle long out of warranty to the dealership anyway? Get a few more quotes from some independent mechanics and maybe a body shop or two as well

And just maybe the running light bulbs were replaced at some point by a bulb larger (hotter) than the manufacturer specified.
