top will not open or close and we have a top not secure warring light on dash
Bad top switch, wiring or top motor.
In the fuse box in the trunk,
see if the folding top main fuse has blown, 30 amp, or the folding top logic fuse has blown, 20 amp.
Tester
There are more than a dozen switches and sensors for the folding top. The control module must be checked for faults before the failing switch/circuit can be identified, this type of work is a specialty.
