The transmission works fine when the shifter lights on the instrumental cluster shows. When the shifter lights goes off the car drives sluggish.
What does the shifter light mean? See owners manual. Maybe there’s an economy setting and a “performance” setting for the engine/transmission and it is being reset. “Economy” will be sluggish compared to other settings.
