Hello My 05 QX56 has a radio 6-disc changer that sometimes works. It fades on and off and then so does my screen, sometime not simultaneously. Thankfully the climate controls work and when the screen and radio pop back on, I’m back to rockin and rollin. The dealer said take it to a retailer that installs new radios and proceed. otherwise it can add up quickly to fix. Seems reasonable to me, but need CarTalks advice. Many thanks for your time.
I would say you owe the dealer service department a dozen donuts because they just saved you a lot of money.
